Mr. Polster was graduated from Hoover High School in nearby Glendale and continued his education at Glendale Junior College, Occidental College, and USC. He then became a professional base- ball player with the Spokane Indians. As a member of the Marine Corps, he played on the Marine baseball team. His miiltary travels include a year in China. Noted for his understanding and humorous nature, he has the gift of making a science class fun. His patient guidance helps students in the exacting study of science. His expert coaching has shaped JB teams into tough competition for opposing teams. In three short years he has become a beloved teacher, coach, and friend.
