li CG ELOR T The counselors job is an important one, Their judgments and decisions help the student to plan his future. Whether a student decides to go to college or to find a good job, the counselor is there to guide him. . The people who can help us achieve our goals are the reliable counselors. If any problems occur within school, they always have a solution for it. Another tool that is readily available to the stu- dents is the new VICS machine. This instrument can answer many of our questions, or help us with any doubts about our future plans. Above: Department Head, F. FRE HMAN C TER Another important part of Bartram is its Fresh- man Center located at 78th :Sr Este Avenue. The annex was built in 1971. This modern facility has much more to offer to all ninth grade students. The modern decor consisting of brightly painted walls, wall to wall carpet and central air condi- tioning, gives the building a more pleasant and stimulating atmosphere. The smaller class size allows the teachers more time for personal instruction which, is beneficial to the students' education. Mrs. Gaylord, vice-principal and top administra- tor of the building with the assistance of M r. Gal- lante, a large teaching staff, and counselors and an assortment of aides all work to keep this annex of Bartram running smoothly. Top Right : Picture of the Freshmen Center.
