A OFTBALL GIRLS, TRACK ln the last few years girls, sports have blossomed into a budding reality. Taking their stand with the male athletes, the girls have proven that they can set the pace for fast action and alot of excite- ment. The track and softball teams are doing very well this season. Under the direction of Mrs. Robin- son, the girls' track team began their season on March 15, 1975. Both Mrs. Robinson and the team are looking forward to a good season. The Girls' Softball Team, under the coaching of Miss Belino began their season when the weather broke in March. She is hopeful for a successful season. TENN BADMITTO Tennis is one of the fastest growing after-school games, and is becoming more and more popular here at Bartram. Each year more girls are trying out for the team and participating in the games. Under the direc- tion of Miss Agnes Stegmuller the team hopes for a good season. The members of the girls' tennis team are: Brooke Patton, Jayne Ruppert, Donna Kloss, Dana Pisanelli, Tequila Rosouse, Joanne Miles, Dorothy Melcori, Rhonda Himes, Jeanette Hunt- er and Cindy Hunter. Another of the racket sports enjoyed by the girls at Bartram is Badmitton. The team practices ev- eryday after school in the gym under the coach- ing of Miss Stegmuller. The team has great potential along with great sportmanship. They only had three losses and eight wins. They lost to West Phila., Bok, and Kensington. These losses did not shake their confidence.
