GIRL 3 BA KETBALL The girls' varsity basketball team had hoped to repeat last year's record of nine to two but due to unforeseen circum- stances they did not have a successful season. They are, however, optimistic about the playoffs. n A great loss to the team will be Audrey Pugh, Not only has Audrey held the record for three consecutive years for high- est number of points scored in basketball, but she has been a captain of both the volleyball and basketball team. All of this while she excelled in badmitton, softball, and track. Coach Rowland says that Audrey has made women's varsity athletics a first class activity at Bartram. She has been select- ed as an outstanding female athlete by her teammates for an uward in a national sports magazine as well as a nomination for citywide honors.
