Mergonts, Betty Bodenseick, Doris Kolhoff. TENNIS CLUB Under the auspices of Miss McDermott, this club has been meeting once a month in the girls' gym. This is the second year the club has been in existence. As yet, the girls have encountered no opposition this season but Miss Mc- Dermott expects to schedule other schools to oppose them. BOWLING CLUB '4lt's a strikelw gleefully shouted one of the students of Miss lVIcDerniott's Bowling Club. The club has been meeting every Wednesday and Friday at the Elm- wood Bowling Academy. Dorothy Russie. BASKETBALL TEAM Under the sponsorship of Miss Holden, the Basketball Club has been meeting every Friday at 2:30. Its objective is to teach the girls advanced basketball. The varsity team is captained by Connie Bowen and the reserves by Dora Sheelz. Presi- dent is Pat Trumin and Dorothy Suders is secretary.
