Bapst traveled to Millinocket to hand the Minutemen of Stearns a crushing 37-0 defeat. With the game less than two minutes old, the purple power-house pushed across the first six points. The Crowleymen had no difficulty in gaining yardage, both on the ground or in the air, never being held for downs and completing nine of fifteen passes. Bullet Billy Mc- Cann crossed the goal line three times. Spenser and McManus also added touchdowns and Cushing chip- ped in with the point after. The biggest upset of the season staged on an Eastern Maine gridiron when Bapst led the Bangor Rams around by the nose all afternoon, winning by the awesome score of 33- 13.
