Kickers hove leon seoson The spirit was present, as Coach Phil Bonfiglio said, but the goals never came in abundance. Such was the story of the 1975 soccer season which saw the Adams team drop all seven of its league encounters. We just couldn't put it together, Bonfiglio commented. With only three players, Mark Ell, Mark Fowle and Russ Woods returning from the 1974 squad, lack of experience was a season-long problem. Two close losses included a 7-6 decision to Marshall in double over- time in which leading scorer Ell garnered the three-goal hat trick , and a 2-1 loss to Grant in the closing game of the season. Bonfiglio said he was pleased with some aspects of the players game, including good spirit and rate of improvement throughout the season.
