SENIOR CLASS UFFICERS Selma Gernmn FIRST ON the list, is our Senior Class President, Rosemary Nodar. This at- tractive gal enjoys dancing, bowling, and Glenn lVIil1er's music. She rates From Here to Eternity tops on her list. In the food department, she loves spaghetti and meatballs and Chinese food. Perry Como, loni Iames, Dean Martin and Ierry Lewis, the Dodgers, and Duke Snider are some of her other favorites. Ro, just like all of us, has some dislikes. Some of them are people who are hard to please, taking shorthand on her lap, and doing ex- ercises. When I asked her what she would remember most about Adams, she was quick to reply, Sitting in the G.O. Council meetings and being Presi- dent of the senior class. Among some of her favorites are I Love Lucy, Tony Curtis, mid Charlie Ohlig. A main ambition of our President is to bowl 175. She enjoys Stenography very much cmd would like to be a success- ful secretary someday. One of the most popular girls in Adams is our Vice President, Gene- vieve lGennyJ Kloda. Genny likes English, roller skating, dancing, cars, babies, black and white sodas, good jokes, and beach parties. She also likes people with a good sense of humor. The songs, Till Then, and Lou Monti's Darktown Strutters Ball rate with her. loni Iames and Tony Bennett are her favorite singers. An- other Dodger fan is our Vice President with Gil Hodges as her favorite player. Some of Genny's dislikes are people with no school spirit. weekend assign- ments, conceited boys, and people who tease her about her fear of water. Genny will remember most about Adams the football games, dramatics club, winning the dancing trophy, do- ing her G.O. minutes, and Mr. Piatti's assembly programs. Someday, Genny hopes to be a teacher. She will attend St. Iohn's University this fall. Next, we come to our Treasurer, Arlene Weber. The day she found out she was treasurer will always be re- membered by her. Arlene likes to col- lect records, take pictures, train her two canaries, play baseball, and swim. The Bell Bottom Blues has a special significance for her because of a cer- tain sailor named George. The foods she enjoys the most are pizza, spa- ghetti and meatballs, and her mother's homemade meat loaf. Arlene does not like rushing after gym, people who cannot make up their mind, and tele- vision. So Big is Arlene's favorite movie while Montgomery Clift takes the acting honors. The Dodgers and Gil Hodges are who she will be rooting for this season. An ambition of Arlene's is to leam to bake a cake like her mother. Arlene is looking forward to being a stenographer after graduation. Red-haired Maxine Wechselman is our Secretary. Mickie, as she prefers to be called, thinks the songs Star- dust and Heaven Knows Why are the most to say the least. Mickie likes Sara Vaughn, horseback riding, moon- light swimming, bowling, collecting jazz records, and airplanes. She keeps scrapbooks of Tony Curtis and her favorite ball team Cyou guessed it al- readyj the Brooklyn Dodgers-they must win this year! She dislikes people who are not punctual, and boys who cannot dance. Mickie says that the one thing she will remember most about Adams is homework. M.ickie would like to get married and have five boys someday! In the meantime, however, after graduation she will be a secretary for T.W.A. I hope you have enjoyed meeting the officers of the Senior Class of Iune 1954. I would like to wish all of the Seniors the best of luck in the future. Twenty-one
