Outstanding Students John Adams High School is proud of its students and with good reason. This year we can boast about the largest number of Na- tional Merit finalists in the history of our school. Our four A.F.S. finalists are indica- tive of the outstanding juniors who will assume the A.F.S.'s leadership next year. The excellence of our students in academics We felt very proud and happy this year for our six National Merit Scholarship fmalistsg Sue Welber, Burke jackson, Jeanne Martin, Art ShaPi1'0, Tony Evans and Mary Anne Haines.
