October 7th, 8th and 9th marked the annual Home- coming festivities at Johnson High School. These gala days could not be dampened by the bleak, daily, driz- zling rain that splashed against our red-bricked building. This inclement weather also forced postponement of the traditional gridiron battle with our arch foe, Harding. The suspense-filled Coronation assembly marked the beginning of the weeks events. The climax of this affair saw the glittering crowns placed on the heads of Lynn Ostebo and Jerry Ricci. Thursday, the crepe strewn parade jerked along York street as the ominous clouds briefly parted. Par- doned Peggy Senske and other sophomores spilled into the street to spark the spirit of the floatmen before an- other misty wave drove them classward.
