. . . SENIURS The Senior Class of 1958 embarked upon their last year at Johnson with a whirlwind of activities. Sharon Linn, like many other Seniors, found that in addition to getting used to their regular class work again there were many football games and club initiation parties to attend. During October the embryo academicians in the class pitted their intellects against their counterparts across the country during the National Merit Scholarship Test. Homecoming festivities, assemblies, and more football games rounded out the slate for October. Strolling and rock'n'rolling was the keynote at the numerous Basketball dances held during November and December. The last big event of the year was the Cheerleaders' Snowflakes in Pink Dance. The sparkling new year brought many club parties, the riotous Hobo dance, and the informative Senior interviews. Embarrassing Cupidgrams, the Sweetheart Swing, and the premiere of the J.S. Play The Fighting Littles was highlighted in February. Looking ahead, the class ordered announcements and were measured for their caps and gowns. ln March, Ray Kramer and many other Seniors were hard at work learning chemical formulas, Shakespearian quotations and the psy- chological functions of our complex lives. The Band and Choir Con- certs, the Operetta and the fun-filled Playday were spotlighted in Spring. The Yearbook and Graduation exercises brought the year to a close.
