They assist in the routine administration of the school, make out tardy slips, prepare and dis- tribute the daily attendance lists, phone the absentees daily, check skipper slips, answer the telephones, give mes- sages, and perform innumerable duties pertaining to the regular functions ot OFFICE FORCE the school. Under the supervision of Miss Smith and Miss Dvorak, they knitted an afghan from yarn salvaged from old athletic socks and gave it to the Iunior Red Cross who will send it to some Army camp. In the spring the girls sponsor the annual grab bag sale of unclaimed articles, the proceeds from which they donate to the Red Cross and other worthy projects. Row A: D. Whyte, A.
