lass Proplwc On my last fl1ght to Mars moon I came pretty close to a coll1s1on w1th a star cruiser When the whole 1nc1dent was over I contacted the commander of the star cru1ser by 1nter tele Much to my surprlse It was Roger Bunker The surpr1se was I thought he was a better off1cer After a br1ef chat I turned on all turbos full blast and landed 1n the space lock on Mars moon I went lmmed 1ately to the capsule mach1ne and selected my capsules for lunch then proceeded to tele c1ty and who should I f1nd conductlng tours through the health bay but Loretta Brown, who 1S now head nurse there We exchanged greetlngs and then I left the v1c1n1ty From there I went to the m1SSlle paddock and talked to the well known sc1ent1st Robert Harlukow1cz Although he wasn t very am b1t1ous 1n hlgh school back on earth, he sure d1d p1Ck up 1n the COSm1C atmosphere After several more days on Mars moon, I climbed aboard my passenger cru1ser and headed back for earth On the way I stopped at the earth's moon to p1Ck up a few gifts for the family I knew Marce and Leo were l1v1ng there so I stopped by to say hello From there I landed on a Jet base near Hudson Bay When I went 1nto the observat1on room Bob Welsh was s1tt1ng there work1ng hard as the Pres1dent of the Inter planet Farmmg Assoclatlon For a Whlle I thought he was go1ng to land 1n professlonal baseball but he only plays ln lelsure tlme now I asked h1m 1f he knew where Ioyce and Mayree were now and his reply surpr1sed me to no end Both he said were at the Umversal Tra1n1ng Base for Women Space Commanders Th1s brought on qu1te a lengthy conversat1on It wasn t long before he asked the whereabouts of Pat and Bonn1e I told h1m the last t1me I had heard Pat was 1n command of her own Shlp I always knew the m1l1 tary SeI'V1Ce appealed to her As for Bonn1e she wo ked her flrst few years as Secretary of Un1ted Planet Correspondence However when the new commun1cat1on system was put to use she lost her Job Now she s marrled She and her husband travel frequently As yet they haven't any fam1ly Soon after I excused myself and took a turbo home I greeted my fam1ly and handed them e glfts I had brought At that moment the automatlc door slgnaler began humm1ng s1gn1fy1ng we had company I pushed the door release and 1n a few seconds B111 KuJawa walked 1n and asked 1fI d seen Bob Welsh that day B1ll was 1nterested because he 1S V1ce Presldent of the Farmers Assocl at1on He sa1d that Frank Pomarzynsk1 1 now 1n the research department I'm sure that pleases h1m because he always d1d l1ke to cultlvate the so1l I'm sure that you notlce the old t1me term farmlng lS be1ng used frequently aga1n after many years B111 left after dlnner that even1ng and we had just settled down 1n our Vlbfa cha1rs for an evemng of mov1e v1s1on and the door slgnaler began buzzlng aga1n and when Kenneth McCready walked 1n I Jumped from my cha1r and shook h1s hand VIQOFOUSIY for I hadn't seen th1s famous bus1ness man s1nce 1960 That was the year he became lnterested 1n manufacture of Rocket Hulls He also Sald he had h1red Bruce Palmer to 1n stall all wlrlng for l1ght1ng and the rnter tele systems Both have fam1l1es The next morn1ng when I left for my work I watched the headl1nes above the super h1ghway and found out that a new explorer sh1p had left early that mormng to explore the nelghborlng umverse and aboard was Marllyn Harr1ngton golng along to teach the chlldren of the p1oneer1ng space fam1l1es I notlced among some of the names of the fam111es that the former Mary Len Cooley was one of the brave young mothers I cl1mbed out of my turbo and stepped onto the convey o belt wh1ch took me to my Off1Ce From my terrace I could see the ultra modern house of Pat Koronka and her husband It s one of the few not surrounded by bu11d1ngs of the c1ty Deana Wlegandt and her husband are 1n bus1ness Wlth Pat and spouse They are owners of 4 K lnter planetary, movle v1s1on productlons So lt was I met all the members of my class of 59 on one of my many tr1ps It would be enl1ghten1ng to keep your eye on them T1mes change rap1dly . 1 . . . .
