Class Prophecy After winnmg the Lelvlan s Racing Championshtp title in Europe I decided to fly to the United States It was onthe 5th day of May 10 15 A M when my plane landed at Vlillovv Run Air port in Detroit As I was walking in Highland Park whom should l bump into but Janet V4 eber who is Mrs Black now IA e talked for awhile about her family in Lansing Janet said she was going to vis it her school pal Helen Milbocker who is living in Detroit with her hubby and nine kids Naturally I had to stop at the largest bar in Detroit As I was sitting there I thought about Dave Polasky who always dreamt of an exclusive place like this Then who should walk in but the owner who was no one but Dave Polasky himself and to my surprise he had his movie star wife with him He told me of Richard Duczkowski who is Lieutenant Commander of the Coast Guard H is makmg a career of it On one of h1s recent trips he met Hubert Gill who was walking down masonry expert He told us of his family in Boyne Falls After I left Dave s place I ran into Raymond Kujawa who IS in Chicago furthermg his Diesel Engineering studies He asked me if I heard about Chet Koronka None of us had because Chet left the Burg right after graduation and no one had seen h1m since So Ray told me of Chet s ten big dairy farms in VX isconsin B111 Kelly just happens to be his manager and he IS gettmng top wages Another surprise was to hear that Rosie Respecki and Terry Thompson are a very happy couple running their filling station in Florida As I walked along I happened to see Vlard Miller who 1s now a state trooper and is work ing on a stolen car case He told me that Norman Larsen is a state accountant He ani Robert Pewinski are living in Bloomheld Hills Michigan He asked if we knew about John Hoy and Keith Smith John is married and has a family of fourteen kids Keith Smith is a bachelor and is a foreman at Cadillac IH Detroit I would have liked to have seen all of my former classmates but I m happy to hear that they have done well in this world So I shall return to Europe to continue my racing career . ., , . .
