Determination, concern, dedication, hard work and loyalty described the qualities possessed by this year's faculty. Another year ended and once again the Ferris staff managed to maintain a high standard of curriculum. Many revisions u set the 1981-82 school program. As these changes stole some of our faculty, they also brought new staff in: lim Elvington, Carolyn Keller and Frank Windishaar. During extra curricular hours, lim Elv- ington replaced Bill Shephard as coach of Ferris' Varsity Basketball Team. Affec- tionately known as Diamond lim, Mr. Elvington transferred to Ferris from Shadle Park High School. Another face popped up in the B.N.H. program this year. Carolyn Keller joined the Saxon Faculty team, teaching behavior, neurologically handicapped students and learning resource center. 5 ,V -4 Y Opening senior's eyes to foreign af- fairs, Ferris' newest addition, Frank Win- dishaar, taught Current World Affairs. Leaving Saxon life to experience more than the struggling life of a teacher, Bruce Wylder and Ronald Aubrey retired after devoting endless years of educating attentive students. Mr. Wylder, while teaching at Ferris, coached the Saxon Golf Team. Prepar- ing students for continuing their careers in mathematics, Mr. Aubrey taught Ad- vanced Math and Geometry. !'l think our faculty tries hard and is determined to help us achieve our goals, declared Senior Barbara Becker. Many teachers fail to realize just how essential they are to the students. Without these dedicated souls, the Fer- ris curriculum would cease to uphold its high standard.
