Sports have been a part of man ' s society for hundreds of centuries. Early civili- zations used sports for the conditioning and survival training of its warriors. As history advanced so did sports. There are basically two types of sports, individual and team. Each player has a responsibility to the team to carry his share. The suc- cess of the individual participant depends on the effort put forth by that individual. Sports is more than a developer of the body, it is a builder of character and responsibility.
