The 1977-78 Golden Hoof is dedicated to the person who was yearbook advisor for the past three years. and who put forth much time and effort in helping make the Golden Hoof one of the finest junior high yearbooks in California. In his five years at Miller. he has brought energy and enthusiasm into his English and his yearbook classes. and given to his students not only his knowledge. but himself. ln appreciation for his yearbook guidance from 1974- I977. and for his continued teaching excellence. we dedicate this yearbook to Andrew Mortensen. Busy sports seasons domi- nated the year, with Miller teams once again leading most of the after-school leagues. Dances, skating parties, maga- zine drive. pizza party, hog party. and just the day-to-day activities that keep Miller stu- dents busy. But among the busy days. there were many fun days - like those moments pictured here.
