In Gene Skirvins ' last season as head football coach at J.H.S., the cardiac kids rallied, under his guidance and leadership, to an unpresidented 10-0- undefeated-untread season. The season was capped off with a district 10 play-off birth. Gene Skirvin ' s dedication and enthusiasm will be remembered in the hearts of his players and friends , and in our book , he ' ll always be 1. This past season ' s accomplish- ment will be long remembered as this man ' s greatest triumph. We, the cardiac kids, the players on the 1976 football team, would like to open our hearts and tip our hats to this great man among men. Thank you for everything . - A.J.
