' ' With screams and cheers from the crowd, Jody was presented with her crown, flowers and trophy, as her smile glowed. Homecoming came early this year, as it came in September on the 17th. School had just started and the excitement of homecoming week was in the air. With the hustle and bustle of learning class schedules and becoming involved in all the special activities the week holds, how could you help but be terribly excited? Powder Puff this year came off quite well. First place went to the sophomore class, 2nd place went to the juniors, 3rd to the seniors and the freshmen, even though their enthusiasm was powerful, brought up the rear. The night was completed by our super team winning over Northwestern, 35-0.
