Row Three:CL. to RJ Ronald Hay- man, John Brander, Frances Stehle, Thomas Ackerman, Morgan Hawk, THE PERFECT IDIOT The high school gang just hates the boy-wonder, Dan. They'd heard about his high I. and they despised his Smart-Me! Dumb You! attitude. But they had to turn to him when Puff, the school's prize athlete, was disqualified from all events because of his grades. Somebody had to coach him and Dan was elected. To solve his own problems, Dan agreed to coach Puff if all the gang would rally around him long enough to satisfy his parents, who wolildn't let him take a college entrance exam until he was more popular in high school. Fiery Linda, who is to be Dan's steady', and who fascinates Dan, likes the deal least of all. Just as Dan gets everything rolling smoothly, a series of wildly funny mis- haps upsets the whole applecart. From then on, events build to a climax that is the very essence of farcical fun! The play was a success and we know it lived up to the wonderful coaching job administered by Miss Neast. Congratulations Miss Neast and Play Cast. 66
