You have completed a course of study that entitles you to a high school diploma, indicative of preparation for important roles in the life of our great nation. The faculty and I congratulate you on your graduation from high school. If you have developed a restless curiosity to know and understand the reasons for man's failures and successes, if the eternal truths of life have been learned so as to enrich your thinking and fortify your convictions, and if the causes of war and its resultant bloodshed and chaos have aroused in you a dedication to help secure a just and lasting peace, with all its blessings for mankindg then, you have prepared well for the future. I Whatever position in life you aspire to you will discover that it has demanding duties and pressing obligations. Louise is fun-loving, a dependable lass, Co-operative, neat, she's really got class. Our letter-writer with long dark hair, Sarah is a girl with an energetic air. Soft-spoken, funny, her man she has found, Janet is the girl who is altar-bound. Active and jolly with dimples galore, Ann is a girl who is never a bore. llona7s our girl who is stately and slim, She likes different hairdos which are neat and trim. Here is Nancy, full of fun, Better company, there is just none. Lucy may be quiet, but thatis nosin, A very good student who is bound to win. Kossy has blue eyes, sheis friendly and kind, To be a hairdresser is in her mind. Nan's as cute as a girl can be, We hope that happiness is her destiny. Curly hair and dimples, drives a car, too, Of girls like Sandy there are far too few. ,Tum Rosie has a gentle air, She's awfully nice and always fair. Sheis blonde and gay with an active air, Mary Ann and her friend make a good pair. Sandy is a girl who is quiet and polite. Whatever her task, it is always done right Stevie our co-editor, has a big heart, You can be sure that sheill do her part. Our yearbook editor, Kathy's quite a girl, Shels living now in a social whirl. Virg is the girl with a friendly smile, We find that she's tardy once in a while. Bev is little and full of tricks, In any crowd sheis sure to mix. Call on our Sharon for a helpful deed, The acme of good nature, a true friend indeed Windy has a winning smile, She's quite a girl and we like her style. Tommie, our red-head, to college will go, There we hope he'll make a good show.
