To make things more exciting, today was the first day of school in the newly organized J im Thorpe Area Senior High School. It is composed of the former Mauch Chunk Area High School and East Mauch Chunk High School. We were divided into two homerooms under the supervision of Miss Neast and Mr. Maehrer. April 14, 1955 Dear Diary, The rain did not dampen our spirits tonight as we danced to the smooth music of The Ambassadors at our Junior Prom. Edward Trice and Dorothy Bennick reigned as king and queen, while George McArdle and Ann Kostishion served as prince and princess. J une 16, 1955 Dear Diary, The day has come at last! Final report cards were issued today and we are thrilled at the thought of becoming Seniors.
