It is an achievement worthy of note and one deserving of praise. On this happy occasion, I am certain, tha pride swells in the hearts of your loved ones. You have come to the crossroads of your lives. Before moving on ask yourselves a number of searching questions dealing with your interests, skills and abilities, and then seek the counsel of those whose experience will help you to chart a happy and a successful life. As Americans we are blessed with a degree of freedom and a measure of wealth unequaled in the history of mankind. Our heritag was kindled from the din and smoke of battle, enflamed and enriched through the heroic sacrifices of Americans living and dying through six generations of our glorified history, believing as they did in the dignity of man and his inalienable rights. It now becomes your sacred duty to defend that heritage when threatened and to pass it on to posterity unblemished. There will be a never ending challenge to test the strength of your convictions: to uphold that which is right and move against that which is wrong. To do otherwise will place you among those wha know neither the joy of triumph or the satisfaction of having tried and failed. No matter what the test or how great the task,face it with a will to succeed. Success will not come easily: public indifference and complacency will impede your advance, doubts and fears will lessen your enthusiasm, but by invoking God's aid and with a will- ingness to work long and hard, you will be blessed with many of l1fe's great rewards.
