MEMBERSHIP LOW, SPIRIT HIGH The pep club began the year with a strong membership of 106 girls. During the year, sever- al factors influenced many of the girls to not participate. Some believed that this was be- cause the demerit system had been dropped, and the girls were not required to come to the games. Others think it was due to the fact that there would be no tryouts for cheerleading or drill team next year. Pep club President, Shelbie Gower, said that even though a lot of the girls didn't come to the games, the ones that did were the most dedi- cated and hard working. Sponsor: Mrs. McCain . The Bridger Trailblazers Drill team consisted of 23 girls that per- formed at home football, basket- ball and volleyball games. The Trailblazers pleased the half time fans with their enthusiastic and interesting routines. Some of the routines were performed to songs like Fame, Ant music, At The Hop, Celebration, Too Much Time On My Hands and My Girl.
