The laughter and the tears, the shadows of misty yesteryears; the good times and the bad you've seen and all the others in between. . .remember, do you remember the times of your life? 1-The school mascot welcomes everyone to Jewell School. 2-Not many school districts can boast surrounding populations like this. 3-Don’t be fooled by this innocent looking 3rd and 4th grade; it also includes members of the classes of 1981 and 1982. 4-It may have been some time ago, but the faces and names remain the same. Included are some of the members of the classes of 1983 and 1984. 5-A warm spring day is captured on film to become a memory of the season. 6-Do you remember? Marcy Layman Make no use of time if you love eternity; yesterday cannot be assured: only today is yours. Quarles Patrick Potts What we learn with pleasure we never forget. Alfred Mercier Proud, determined, almost rebellious at times, the Senior class of 1980 left behind them a history of leadership, scholastic achievement, and involvement. As Freshmen they boasted a membership of 14, but by the time of graduation, they had dwindled to a boisterous four. They refused to let smallness slow them down, which became more and more evident as they attained their goals. All four members of the Senior class held membership in the National Honor Society, a goal which they 4 Seniors Connie Rinkes A smile is a whisper of a laugh. Debra Wood When you get to the end of your rope, tie a knot in it and hang on. worked hard to achieve. This year’s Senior class did several things to raise money. A turkey shoot in October, body smear, rummage sale, spaghetti feed, and baby quilt raffle in February, not to mention the Senior stand during noon hour and at games. As they had done many times before, they achieved another goal through all their hard work. On their Senior trip, as the Seniors before them, they went in search of the ultimate tan—only this time in Hawaii.
