The team consisted of Dean Foster, Don Irvine, Jim Hunter, Ward Vandehey, Tim Crawford, Andy Baumel, Todd Johnson, Allen Hecker, Dante” Hill, and Daren Berg. Because there were no seniors on the team and a lot of the team were freshmen, the season was a learning experience for a large part of them. There were only two injuries; James Reeher and Jim Hunter. Jim was out only temporarily with a sprained ankle, but James was out for the remainder of the season with a torn muscle.
