This was even more gratifying considering the girls compete at an 'A' level. Two of our girls gained all-league rec- ognition. They are Kelly Beckman and Tammy Best. The girls finished the regul ar season in second place. They lost to St. Paul in the opening round of the District playoffs, winding up third in District. Remember girls? o , ad Ss me eat oo The J.V.s lend themselves support as they prepare for the first game. They are; Marcy Layman, Tana Hill, Debbi Wood, Connie Rinkes, Cheryl Hecker, and Mira York. Most of these girls wound up playing varsity also. Coach Glover's girls wound up in second place in the CASCO League behind powerful Valsetz. The team went on to the District 1 playoffs only to lose to Eddy- ville. However the team placed three girls on the All=Star team Edna Borders, Tami Reierson , Teri Reierson were the three. Outlooks are great for next year as no one will graduate from the team. Betcha they will go on over to Baker and win!!!!!. a Jewell Trap! Edna, Paula, Sheila, and Charlotte gang up on OES. Good defense girls. HERE COME THE BLUE JAYS!!
