Given by Donna Rodgers CLASS WILL We the graduating class of 1970, being of sound mind and body do bequeath the following: I Bill Alverdes do hereby bequeath to next years basketball team my ability to shoot a five-foot jump shot and miss it. To the whole student body of Jewell High School, I will my love for this Wonderful area in which we live. I Candi Foster do hereby bequeath to next years rally girls the right to throw a temper tantrum at the basketball boys or during a pep assembly at least once a week. To Diane Hanthorn I will my un- surpassed talent to gain weight and to Vicki Baker I pass on my traditional Mary Poppin's T-shirt, to be given to the under-classman of her choice upon graduation. Also to Mr. and Mrs. Peterson I will seat number 15 on the bus to be used for any extracurricular activity after the ball games. I Barbara Hanthorn do bequeath my locker to Virginia Twombly. I will to all the girls of Jewell High School my extraordinary gracefulness, so they may know the enjoyment of true embarrassment, when they fall down, and to all the boys participating in sports my ability to eat a 24 hour meal. I Vic Jarrett do bequeath my ability to find the square root of 1 to Mrs. Goodman, To Tim Foster I will my ability to drop baseballs and strike out in stress situations. I Jim Samuelson will my sliding pads that I wore out from sitting on the baseball bench to Herb Olstedt. I will my ability to keep the classroom disrupted to the Juniors. To all incoming fresh- men, I will my ability to get lost on the campus every morning trying to find my classroom and be tardy, and my ability to stick my big foot in my even bigger mouth, at least twice a day. I Donna Rodgers do bequeath to all girls playing basketball next year my ability to dribble the ball once before getting nervous and pass it off. To Virginia Twombly I will a desk with a backward chair so that she may turn around all class period to have someone to talk to. To all upcoming home economics students I will my unsurpassed ability to make taffy from a divinity recipe. We the class of 1970, do bequeath to all students of Jewell High School our ability to put off until tomorrow what could be done today. Thank you. 27
