BCLS RRO LET OP Le AS ROPE Pe ae set is S = In memory of Judy Foster the Student Body of Jewell High School dedicates this annual. Judy was born in the Seaside Hospital June 11, 1940, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Foster of Jewell, Oregon. She started school at Jewell in September, 1946. Judy completed all eight elementary grades and graduated from the eighth grade May, 1954. The following September she entered Jewell High School and completed her freshman year May, 1955. Judy was killed August 3, 1955 while driving a tractor. TO JUDY Our fond thoughts go winging, To yesteryears, Remembering: A kindness to youngsters, And respect for her Teachers, We remembe r with much pride, Though absent, she's still by our side. Our fond thoughts go winging, To yesterdays, Remembering: And we pause for a moment, Remembering: A bit of joyful laughter, And a lilting line of song, We remember with affection, Though not present, she's not gone. To good old Jewell High we do bequeath sixteen wins and no loses in basketball, a new Gym and any oth little items they may need. THE PROPHECY OF THE SENIOR CLASS Let's look into the future 10 years from now in 1967 to see our two seniors, Kellie and Bill at their class reunion, We hear them reminiscing about the four years at good ol' Jewell Hi. For instance when Bill put a cat in the waste paper basket in Mrs. Goodman's class. And the time when Kellie put the dead rat in Tom McGovern's car. Oh yes, we can hear them now, laughing about the classes they skipped and the things they've done. In their reminiscing we hear Kellie telling Bill all of her experiences since she had left Jewell. After leaving Jewell Hi she worked at Elderberry Inn for 3 years in order to save up money for her trip to Spokane. After 3 long years of waiting she finally got to go to Airline College, which she finished in 3 months. On her first flight she met a dashing young pilot named ''Sky King and they fell madly in love with each other. They were happily married 20,000 feet over the Pacific Ocean en route to Iceland where they now make their home. They live in a darling two room shanty with their 7 children and their 9 Alaskan huskies. As Kellie had brought her information up to date, Bill in turn related to her his past experiences. After leaving Jewell he traveled to Seattle to work at Boeing. The first 5 years he wore a very dignified uniform, a chef's apron. He held down the important job of serving coffee to the workers at noon hour. At last after 5 years his big break came. They finally recognized his true ability. All his dreams had finally come true, At last he had reached his goal. He was nominated assistant pencil sharpener for the president of the plant. There he met and fell in love with the president's daughter, Gertrude. She was a sweet young thing, tipping the scales at 350 and standing 6'2 tall. She wasn't much to look at but boy could she cook. Bill and Gertrude are now happily married and living with her parents and their four skinny boys. So we now leave Kellie and Bill a s we hear them planning for another reunion in 1977.
