I Miller 0l'l'lQl'l . . . . ibulzere . In every field of society, we find women giv- ing their time and talent in the service of others. The whole world is open to the Better Wom- an, who, through her daily tasks, great or small, desires to spread her Christian influence. Be it in the home, the classroom, the hos- pital ward, the mission field, the office, or the professional world, true service means the same for the Better Woman, it means love in ac- tion. Service means work, and work means serv- ice. It meant that at school, it will mean that in life. Any kind of work is ennobling if it be done in the proper attitude and with devotion. Sweeping a floor or delivering a speech, wash- ing the dishes or teaching a class - all may become fine arts and bring true culture if per- formed for love of God and neighbor. The world at large may never know the jun- ior or senior who always played a second role joyfully to boost a cast, club, or team, the world may never read about the mother who raised two orphans besides her half-dozen . . . but, the silent, quiet, service, the good deed done without expectation of gratitude and re- ward - that makes the difference between the better and the ordinary laborer who works for pay and honor. The difference lies in love. QXXW Q-1-Q, Wk
