Music, NOTRE DAME CHOIR High school pupils belonging to Notre Dame parish may join the choir that sings at the 9:50 Mass, on Sundays. lt is Mother St. Therese de la Ste-Face who expertly directs the choral comprising 75 voices. flaudette Salois, Muriel Renaud, and Constance Lacroix hue won National Honors for five consecutive years, This has entitled them to the gold Beethoven pin. 56 I -5-1 Officers: President, Beatri Garand '53g Vice-President, Pat ine Laferriere '53: Secretal Treasurer, Jeannine Breault '53 N.F.S.M. Every year, ambitious members of the National Fraternity of Student Musicians prepare a six to ten piece well- balanced program, plus three or four musicianship phases, which they play from memory before a highly competent judge. This judge designated by the Guild, gives both commendations and criticisms on the young players' achievements. Many pupils, in the past, have won, from the Guild, high honors for themselves and prestige for their school.
