Although the team did not have a winning record, success could be measured by means other than losses and wins. This years squad won more meets than the last three years put together. Graduating from this years squad are Daryl Wolff and Team Captain Brian Alberts. These two young men provided excellent leadership for us and will be sorely missed next season. Next season we should have an excellent chance upon improving this years record. Some of the Cedar-Wapsie coaches are picking Jesup as a team to watch next season. If our wrestlers continue to work in the off season as they have to this date, these kids can live up to their expectations. Rod Elson Wrestling Coach Daryl Wolff 71 GIRLS SOFTBALL Row I.
