Mr. Schutte hands out the diplomas. Janice Dinnebier did a fine job. COMMENCEMENT May 18, 1965 We were all very pleased that Mr. North gave our Commencement address this year, when the original speaker was unable to attend due to a misunderstanding of the date. Mr. Shutte, the school board president presented diplomas, and Mr. Hodges, high school principal, gave out bronze, silver, and gold awards to various class members. Mary Jane Trumbauer was awarded the Frost Oil Co. Scholarship and Bob Burrell was awarded a citizenship award.

BACCALAUREATE May 16, 1965 To the tune of Pomp and Circumstance” played by the underclassmen band under Mr. Egli’s direction, the Seniors marched up the aisle. Father McAvoy was unable to attend, so Father Stark gave the address he had prepared. The Boy's Glee Club, the Girl's Glee Club and a girl's sextet sang special numbers for graduation services under the direction of Mr. Stien. 14

Raymond Anderson--Has now become Hollywood's number one playboy. Lyal Bauer--President of General Electric and is still circuiting all his associates. Larry Becker--Isnow Dr. Kildare's most important lab technician assistant. Richard Broad--Owner of a National Food Chain and is now hiring his own carry-out boys. Jack Brown--Majored in Industrial Arts at SCI and is now only minus four fingers. Sandra Brown--Is now counseling her French students on their love problems. Donald Buhrow—President of the Birds Club and is getting a birds eye view of the world. Robert Burrell--Has beaten Bobby Fisher in the National Chess Finals. Penny Chase--Is still debating whether she is going to be a career woman or homemaker. Janice Christopherson--Frequently seen in New York buying sportswear for Saks Fifth Ave. Frank Coller--ls now first chair saxophone player for Lawrence Welk. Evelyn Dinnebier--Is touring the country to obtain audiences for her more open debate. Janice Dinnebier--Singing ads for Evelyn on her TV program Sing along with Janice. David Dorn--Has purchased a valley so he can rule as the Jolly Green Giant. Steve Faust--Isnow Secretary of Agriculture to the United States. Jack Fratzke—Will soon be seen running the data processing machine for Playboy Mag. Marie Fratzke--Is the first woman agriculture teacher. Sheryl Fuller--Due to all her medical expenses has married Dr. Kildare to cut them down. Berdina Greentree--Has nowfulfilled her dream of raising a family of four. Roger Greathouse—Is now improving the Greathouse Grab for his wrestling team. Steve Hanson--Chief butcher at Rath Packing Company. It ain't funny, but it sure is pork. Carol Jacobsen--First bride of the class of 1965. Darrell Jesse--Head basketball coach at Radcliff College in New Jersey. Mary Kalkbrenner--Has begun her own pre-school kindergarten class. Thomas Letchworth--Has just graduated from SCI with his PHD in Child Psychology. Dennis Loeb--Has now joined in the third generation of the Loeb brothers farming. Patsy Luloff--Will be seen running the IBM machine for Pinicon Ford. Terry Luloff--Makes enought profit from his own furniture store to buy paint for his car. Glenda Martin--Has established her home with Five Star General Slater. Judith McElhinney--Is now teaching her children French love songs. Robert McMartin—Has given up his title King of the Road to Chief bubble gum tester. Kent Melick--Has. purchased the Ponderosa and is enjoying the life of a farmer. Jolene Michael--Has discovered a painless way of inserting Novocain. Phyllis Michael--Is now private secretary for Ruehs Welding Inc. Joyce Miller--Promoted Head Insurance Adjuster for Watch Your Step Insurance Co. Robert Peterson--Is now dancing the latest craze to the tune of the buzz saw. Leanne Pint--Is now manager of Miss Clairol hair dye. Darien Poyner--Has made full use of her semester manual on weddings and is now Mrs.?? Larry Ricketts—Is now Information Director for the FBI. Dennis Rodby--Is the new machanic for Andy Fobately. Benny Ruehs--Owner of Ruehs Welding Inc. Ronald Salder--Chief sales manager for Purina Feed Company. James Schroeder—Head of his own construction crew and has completed a new old highway 20. Randy Siepmann—Is still winning scholarships to every college in the Nation. Dorothyann Smith--Has just became Dr. Kildare's private secretary. Joann Stumma--Coaching her own professional basketball team titled the Strumma Stars. Barrie Swinbank—Has finally found the perfect date ! !! David Trewin--Is staring on the TV program Who's talking now. Mary Jane Trumbauer--Is the 1975 winner of the Nobel Prize for physics. Francis Versluis--Operating her own business called Fritz's Beauty Ship. Marvin Voland—Has lowered the price of hair cuts to $1 and is taking in all the business. Randee Walensky--Has achieved her goal to becoming a Florence Nightingale the Second. John Walker--First JHS graduate to do 1120 in 7.8 seconds. Raymond Weepie--Has recently caught the largest fish ever to swim the Wapsie. Arleen Weltzin--After attending IBM school is now operating a Data Processing School. James Widner--Is now manufacturing a new car called Widner Wheels. Gary Wiezorke--Is going for wrestling heavy weight championship of the world. Paul Youngblut—Graduated from IUE with a PHD in how to succeed in marriage without trying. 16
