President David Cole David Cole uI,d rather Secretory Darlene Carr be wiser than I look than look wise than a Band l,2,5,4 1: l Treasurer Naxine Ulm Vice President xlchard Pump 1 SDUGSHC Council 5,4 Colors Violet and White C1833 0 ficpp 1 4 Flower White and Purple Violets Pla craft 4 Motto We have built castles Senior Play the air, HOW form the foundation LJ, 0496 The fell of '32 found thirty three small girls and boys throwing their pigtails over their shoulders and hitohing up their britohes ready to enter the gates ot learning with lies Leona Perrior as teacher Of the class of 'LL there are only nine who answered the roll than The: are Helen Peterson, Burton Amfahr, Billie Brown, David Cole, Georgie Ehr, Fran Fuller, Audrey lay, Marian McDonald, and Berneice Schuler In '33 we entered second grade with Miss Beulah Koontz as leader, and in 'BL entered third grade under the dlrec tion or Miss Mary Wiler lies Evaline Horan took over in '35 with a new member, Darlene Carr, Joining us Fifth grade A new instructor, Miss Margaret Bremner, and four new pigtail throwers, Helen Bailey, Wilma Copen haver, Phyllis Mills, and Vera Putnam, join our ranks Ne enter sixth grade Misa Ann Oelberg helps us pull new friends, Eva lerfeld and George Groot, into our circle of class mates At last, we are grown up We have entered Junior High Our teachers, Miss Edith Fink and Mr Lawrence Carrington, see us through our trials and pass us on to eighth grade , where, Edwin Papesh becomes a classmate and lr Iorrest Sadler takes over lr Csrr1ngton's place But now,we have reached high school, where Robert Bone ies, Kenneth Hopkins, LaVonne Howard Daniel Kautz, Maxine Ulm, end Marlys Weatphal join us to wear the green caps of Preshlll. Junior Wolf Joins us in our Sophomore year with Maxine Ulm leaving to go to Jubilee and Robert Boneras to lest High at Waterloo, only to return in our Junior year along with Donald Bauer, lee Benorden, Irma Orth, Dick Pump, and Lore Wellman. lell, we are Seniors. We have been well represented in all activities. Bend will lose seven members, playcrett twelve, girls sextet, I.F.A. and athletics as well, lose several.
