The Seventh Annual Falcon Forensic was held on February 4th and 5th, Thirty-one schools participated. The Cadence Com- modores and ROTC assisted the National Forensic League. The NFL, sponsoring the tournament, did not enter. On February 18th and 19th in the Jones auditorium, the Plume Dior Players presented their musical comedy, Bye-Bye Birdie. The basic theme of the play con- sisted of a teen-age music idol, Birdie, who was drafted into the Army. The unpre- dictable and hilarious events that preceded his departure thoroughly delighted the audience.
