The Seventh Annual Falcon Forensic was held on February 4th and 5th, Thirty-one schools participated. The Cadence Com- modores and ROTC assisted the National Forensic League. The NFL, sponsoring the tournament, did not enter. On February 18th and 19th in the Jones auditorium, the Plume Dior Players presented their musical comedy, Bye-Bye Birdie. The basic theme of the play con- sisted of a teen-age music idol, Birdie, who was drafted into the Army. The unpre- dictable and hilarious events that preceded his departure thoroughly delighted the audience.

Graduation Senior hoys anxiously await Baccalaureate services. The graduating seniors' activities began in a whirl of excitement with the Senior Prom which was held in the Grill Room of the Houston Club on January 8, 1966. Enter- tainment was provided by The Kings. Later in the evening the graduating seniors,honored their homeroom teachers 1 with gifts of appreciation. The height of the evening came with the After-Prom Party at the Houston Executive Club. Here the exuberate theme of Mardi Gras enhanced the spirit of the graduating seniors. Yet Baccalaureate and Commencement made a lasting im- pression on these seniorsg Dr. Brooks Wester, pastor of Park Place Baptist Church, presented the sermon for the Baccalaureate service. Here also the Commencement exer- cises were held. With a handshake and the grasping of a diploma, the graduating seniors step out into the World. Mr. Mills and Dr. Brooks Wester watch the graduating seniors' procession.
