Pleasure I admire, but work I love. These words most fittingly descrihe Miss Kathryn Timme, social science teacher at jones since its opening. To this she also added the responsibility of heing the first sponsor of the Gauntlet for over foar years and later, sponsor of the Talon for three years. Her fellow teachers enjoyed her friendship and respected her determination and zeal. A student at the University of Houston working on her M.A. Degree, she, never- theless, found time to teach her classes and manage the yearhooh efficiently. Those students who hnew Miss Timme will always value the ideals she inspired. In their memories she will always remain an excellent teacher, newspaper and yearhooh sponsor, and ahone all, a nioacioas and cherished friend. I9
