Reserve Officers Training Corps Discipline, Patriotism Lt. Colonel Steve Tefteller Lt. Colonel Kathy Vondergoltz Batlalion Commander Battalion S pomor Jones is very proud of its ROTC unit, and justly so. Some of the purposes of the organization are to form habits of orderliness and precision, to instill discipline and thereby respect for constituted authority, to develop patriotism and to encourage a high sense of personal honor and deportment. The Cadets and their sponsors have the privilege of attending the Annual Military Ball, which is an outstanding social event of the school year. They are also in charge of the Jones annual Homecoming dance. Some of the other extracurricular activities in which the Cadets participate are ushering at rodeos and the Ice Capades, and in State and National competitions of both Rifle and Drill teams. Sergeant Cavanaugh Kenneth O Kettler Captain, U. S. Army Sgt. Major Gordon Crocker
