x ,1 W EAPON S DEPART ME Weapons Department, consisting of BM's, FC's, GMM's, GMG's and ST's, was called upon many times to show the Foreign Navies of The Uni- tas XXX how things are done on board the U.S.S. JESSE L. BROWN. Through unreps, gunnery exercises and anti-submarine operations weap- ons department proved to be consistent top performers. With the continu- ous efforts of Deck division the BROWN was able to stand above the rest by being the best looking ship of the Unitas cruise. With many exercises second and third division also proved their merit throughout the Whole Unitas XXX Cruise.
