Vari- ous field trips and service projects are done along with films or guest speakers at monthly meetings. Eleven of the musicians were chosen for this honor. This enabled them to try out for Region Band competition. Six students, Sam Galvez, Andy Wells, Ken johnson, Ema Armanious, Bill Bodden and Doug McElfresh were selected for the Region Band and a chance to play with many fine musicians from other schools.
