ICT Students Involved in Un-the-Iob Training Industrial Cooperative Training stu- dents attend regular classes each morn- ing, At the end of third or fourth period ICT students are involved in on-the-job training. The social year for the ICT-VICA Club is climaxed each spring by an employer- employee formal appreciation banquet. Prior to this event a majority of the stu- dents participate in the district and state Industrial Skill Competition. A few of the skills judged were Dental Assisting, Machinist, Sheet Metal, TV Repair, Cab' inet Making, and Diesel Repair. Working 3 periods, students learn to become be-auticians. This year Cosmetology promoted Senior Citizen Day. This enabled the older ladies of the community to get their hair fixed. It also gives the students a chance to practice their skills. In March, the girls attend the Vica District lll con- test. Blue ribbon finalists compete in the state level contest. ln November Cosmetology went to the Cel- lar Door to crovvn its 1978-79 queen. Bridget Nesrsta was chosen cosmetology queen. ww Clubs -

Going Places The Office Education Association is a youth organization for students enrolled in Vocational Office Education Pre-Employment Laboratory or Co-op. Through monthly meetings, the club is designed to develop leadership and responsibility through elected student officers. Competitive events and awards on the regional, state and national levels provide social and recreational activities promoting goodwill through service pro- jects forthe community.
