After seven days of learn- ing new cheers, techniques, and pom-pon routines, the cheerleaders brought home all superior ribbons. Throughout the year the cheerleaders performed at football, basketball, baseball games, and pep rallies. As the year progressed, it proved to be alittle unlucky for the cheerleaders in the form of bodily injuries. While prac- ticing for the Homecoming game, Tami Pribilski broke her leg. This was not the only injury to occur. At the last football game of the season, Sandra Warm ke lost her foot- ing vvhich left her arm in a cast for four months. Although the cheerleaders had rough times without Tami and Sandra, they never let the spirit and support fade. Below: junior Paula Markert. Collynne Edwards raises her pom-pon to the fight song. During the year the Spirit Club baked cookies, cakes and wrapped the boys lockers. They also decorated the football sta- dium forthe Homecoming game and cheered the Fal- cons on to Victory!
