F s Pat Zaiontz proudly shows the blue ribbon he has won for his table. The Industrial Arts Club participated in the Bra- zos Valley Regional competition. They won 9 Best- in-Division, 36 first places, 25 second places and 23 third places for a total of 93 awards. The Best-in- Divisions were won by Curtis McGee, Lisa McLemore, Robin Rogers, Ben Koudella, Tommy Dobias, james Oliver, Donnie Wood, and Paul lezek. Curtis McGee won 2 of these awards. The club also traveled to Waco to participate in the State Competition. They won 33 first places, 19 second places, 16 third places, and 3 Best-in-Class. The Best-in-Class awards were won by Lisa McLemore, Al Pawelak, and Paul lezek. A curious spectator looks over a booklet designed for an engine. Clubs-187

Magazine Published This year for the first time at lersey Village High School a magazine called Potpourri- Des- Arts was published. Potpourri-Des-Arts is a medley of various arts - poetry, photography, and arts - created by lersey Village students. The magazine was a tremen- dous success. It was sold in April and May for 52.25. The magazine will be published twice next year, and hopefully, will be published quarterly. The quality and quantity of the Potpourri-Des-Arts is dependent on the amount of work contributed by the students. The sponsors for this year were Sandra Little, Sue Sig- man, and Bill Droemer.
