Pam Webb, Hazel, Linda House, and Shela Foster Sports 4th in District Coming into the girls district meet, the team showed good form by taking third at the Baytown High School meet. The next week they found them- selves at Tomball High School where they brought home second place. The district meet was held in Boyan on April 22, where the girls took a fourth place overall. At district the team overall made a great showing. The 440 yd. and 880 yd. relay team consisted of: Pam Webb, Hazel Roberson, Linda House, and Shelia Foster. The 440 yd. relay team qualified for the regional meet. The 880 yd. relay team made a supreme effort and placed third. Senior Cyndi Farmer gives the jump everything shes got. The team may have been small but their enthusiasm propelled them to finish highly in all the meets they attended. Both coaches were pleased with the teams per- formance and are looking forward to a great season next year, All the girls have shown great improvement throughout the season. This team worked as a team and won as a team together.
