Early Season Loses Overcast Outcome Nancy Daughtry protects the basket to keep Bramswooil from storing Patrica Banks hits two points with an outside jump shot against Cy-Fair. At ai home game against lVlc3Cullough Collyne Edwards bumps the score up with ai free throw. The sharp Falcon claws were dulled as the Junior Var- sity basketball season came to an end. The first two dis- trict games against Klein and Spring were disappointing efforts losing 55-32 and 51-36. The Falcons battled lVlcCullough shining on 35-30. The following games against Conroe and Bryan were losses. The Falcons came back on home grounds against Cy-Fair winning 31-24. A string of seven uninvited losses came soon afterwards. Meeting Cy-Fair for the second time accounted for the two of the three district wins. Jersey Village edged by the Bob- cats 44-41. Junior Varsity teams in the 16-4A district proved to be tougher than preseason opponents as Jer- sey Village managed seven victories out of eighteen games. Combined with the district record the Falcons posted a season tally of 1O-22. Sports - 89
