Freshmen were in a bit of a frenzy because they did not know what to expect. They filed into the boys' gym in amazement, settling themselves on the bleachers. As the cheerleaders begin to chant, freshmen assisted in boosting the morale of the football players. From the last week of August through the end of September fresh- men seem to be slightly scared. They walk the halls with a look of terror on their faces, as if someone is going to sneak around the corner and mug them to pick a fight. From October to February freshmen come out of their shells and join clubs and become involved in school activities. Then from March to May many freshmen let it all hang out. Some are stirred by the fact that school is almost out and summer is near. Classes - 263
