Whether it's a call to a boyfriend, a call to Mom, or even a call to the doctor, the phones are always in use. Between Class Happenings What goes on between each class? Usually each student has his own route on getting to his next class. With regular locker stops, restroom stops, and even some telephone stops, he has five minutes. An occasional office stop might slow him down, but the main reason for tardies is socializing ! Regardless of where you're headed, there is always someone to talk to Cor flirt withj. The students at Jersey Vil- lage do tend to forget the five minute limit and talk for six. Once one gets past all the obsta- cles, and finally gets to class, the chair is a welcome sight. Left: Getting to your locker is sometimes quite difficult, but if you get there early, it's no prob- lem. Right: The most famous form of socializing: those few moments with that special one, are the greatest tardy maker. 22 - Student Life Halls are an obstacle course for students trying to get to their next class in a hurry.

Every school in the US. is probably blessed with its own set or two of twins. Here at Jersey Village we are honored to have several, all outgoing, active in school, and all-around nice people. These are a few of J.V.'s twins: Mark and Lisa Acocello, David and Diane Burnett, Beth and Nancy Daughtry, Ronald and Donald Dillion, James and Gary Gates, Ronnie and Donnie Powell, Tracy and Teresa Schindler, and last but by no means least, Amy and Eve Whitmer. Being a twin is not an easy job. One of a twin's main problems is being mistaken for the other twin. This alone can be very annoying. Teresa and Tracy Schindler are almost impossible to tell apart. Double Blessings or Double Trouble Amy and Eve Whitmer came to Houston from California early in the Academically alike are David and Diane Burnett have no prob- year. Popularity was not hard to acquire at J.V. lem with people mistaking them with one another. .. .-...... fy :lonald and Donald Dillion often got slack off other students for things the Nancy and Beth Daughtry are Junior Varsity cheerleaders other did, who are almost identical in every way. Lines Are Forever Early in the morning students are found waiting in line to get their first coke and doughnut. Then when students hear that first lunch bell ring long lines are seen in all three lunch lines. Within 10-15 minutes these lines usually dwindle down to a couple of last minute munchies. The snack bar is used by many students that like fast foods, and is commonly known as junk food. The a al carte and carte lines provide meals for those students who prefer a hot meal. Lunch is a time for socializing with friends you seldom see throughout the day, As the warmer weather approaches students are seen eating lunch outside. Before the bell rings students usually relax by throwing a frisbee, helping to speed up their digestion process.
