Luna, Damian McCarthy, Mary McDaniel, Stephanie McGowan, Rhonda On the eve of Homecoming several active seniors got together and decorated the stairway in the commons. Seniors placed posters on the walls, strung crepe paper in between the rails, aluminum foil was designed in a 78 to engineer the spirit stick. A few seniors boosted each other up on the overdrop in back of the school. They taped a sign on the side ot the overdrop. This was in hopes of attracting the attention of students. The follow- ing day seniors participated in the pep rally and unfortu- nately shared the spirit stick with the sophomores. The things seniors would do for a spirit stick. Classes - 227

Dividing themselves into groups of four, they saterized their characters in the same way Chau- cer did in The Canterbury Tales. Both physical and mental qualities were used in revealing character. The sketch was written in either poetry or prose. Being exempt from a vocabulary test was the prize. '-1 1
