Government is comprised of Mr. Housley, Mrs. Riddle, Mr. Day, and Mr. West. ln Government seniors saw many interesting films such as Missiles of October and The Watergate Tapes. ln January, Mr. Housley and ten honor students took a trip to Washington D.C. Later, seniors studied the court syse tem. A guest speaker from the Har- ris County District Attorney's Office demonstrated wire tapping and electrical surveillance. ln May, stu- dents worked out stock proiects and practiced filling out income tax forms. Sociology is instructed by Mr. Faris. Sociology is a study of man and how he relates to his environ- ment. During the year, the classes went on a field trip to the Texas Research Institute of Mental Sci- ence. Later students studied Death, LITICS URALSP Mrs. Hill explains the upcoming road game to the World History students.
