Los Conquistciclores The Spanish Club 7' l designed to promote further understanding and enjoyment ofthe Spanish culture and language. The Los Conquista- dores had money raising pro- 3 jects. Bake and Ice cream ' sales were held to raise W money for the P.A.S.F. P.A.S.F. stands forthe Pan- American Student Forum -i Convention, which was held in San Antonio. Exhibits and i speakers emphasized Span- ish culture tor those students who were interested. The National Honor Society is for stu- dents who excel exceptionally in lead- ership, service, and scholastically. The 1977-78 officers are: Mark Webster presi- dent, Audrey Archiga vice president, Donna Barhorst secretary, Julie Gleason trea- surer, Brenda Riels historian. Installation of new members into the society took place in the early part of this year. OEA Benefits Students The Office Education Association is a youth organization consisting of junior and senior students in the Vocational Office Education Program. The purpose of the program is to develop good traits of leadership, citie zenship, poise, socialibility, attitude, and tact. Participation in club activities help the girls to develop other traits such as employability, good personality, and office skills. These traits and skills give them satisfaction in knowing they are capable human beings learning how to make a living and also knowing how they live.
